BACKGROUND
Chemistry is present in many parts of the cleantech sector, from solar PV, fuel cells, fossil fuels, organic and inorganic waste recycling and water treatment to sustainable manufacturing, land remediation, environmental management and pollution monitoring. Sometimes, it is the cutting edge chemistry that is the key element behind the innovation and that needs to be protected early on in the commercialisation process. Other people's IP can also have a big impact on the potential for commercialisation of your own innovation.
The chemistry innovation can be part of a new cleantech solution or indeed can be a refinement or fundamental change in a process in the chemical industry. The common theme is that the purpose of the innovation is to improve the holistic environmental impact and it is a technology or innovation which resides in the chemistry field.
This briefing is designed to highlight where chemistry is taking a leading role in clean technology and how the chemistry intellectual property is being identified, managed and protected and then used to optimise the commercialisation of the technological breakthrough that it provides.
ATTENDEES
This briefing is most appropriate to senior management of companies that are developing chemistry within the cleantech sector, commercialisation executives associated with university chemistry and related departments, cleantech knowledge transfer specialists and chemical company technology commercialisation managers.
REGISTRATION
In order for this event to provide the optimal value to the participants, it is by invitation only. If you would like to be invited, then please register here and we will then confirm your place.
