Marta Santamaria – Capitals Coalition
Marta is responsible for innovation to foster the integration of people and nature’s values into decision making. Marta is leading the Coalition’s work on standardizing capital approaches, as well as boosting the transformation of the food, built environment, finance and forest sectors. She does this work through extensive engagement with business, finance and governments.
Marta has 20 years of experience promoting environmental economics and natural capital valuation, with special focus on the transformation of the energy sector. She has several advising positions and a large list of publications, with frequent public speaking interventions.

Main speakers
Julie Hill – WRAP
Julie Hill has a background in environmental policy and politics. She has been Executive Director of Green Alliance (a leading UK NGO), Deputy Chair of the Agriculture and Environment Biotechnology Commission (which led the public debate on GM crops), a board member of the Eden Project and of the Environment Agency for England and Wales. She is presently Chair of the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP), an Independent Board Member of the Consumer Council for Water, and the Vice Chair of the Institution of Environmental Sciences. She has written extensively on environmental issues, including a popular book, ‘The Secret Life of Stuff’.
Dr David Greenfield – Circular Economy Club
David has been working within the waste and resources industry in local government for over 20 years. He is the non-executive Chair of the board of directors for ADBA, Chair of the ICE Resource Management Panel, Board Member of Freegle, Delivery Director for the Diocese of Chichester Energy Stewardship Programme and advisor and past chair to the National Waste Network Coordinators (WNC). David is currently managing the Dept for Transport Funded research project “Pothole Spotter” and supporting churches to be energy efficient.
